Dr. Alison Fair

Meet Dr. Alison Fair and learn about her academic history and experience treating eye diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Allison Fair

Dr. Fair was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She attended Texas State University in San Marcos where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2012. She then went on to pursue her dream of becoming an optometrist at the University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry, where she graduated cum laude in 2018.

Dr. Fair completed her final semester of optometry school receiving clinical training from Lackland Air Force Base, where she gained experience managing a variety of conditions including glaucoma, dry eye, and macular degeneration.

In her spare time, Dr. Fair enjoys spending time with her son and husband. When time allows, she also enjoys walking her dogs, antique shopping, traveling, and visiting the beach.


Dr. Danielle Zapata

Meet Dr. Danielle Zapata and learn about her expertise in geriatric optometry, dry eye, myopia control, and the treatment of eye disease.

Dr. Danielle Zapata

Dr. Danielle Zapata was born and raised in San Antonio, TX and attended St. Mary’s University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2015. Dr. Zapata received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester, MA in 2020.

She has completed multiple internships ranging from the New England area to Texas.

She has significant experience in Geriatric Optometry from the Louisiana VA Medical Center in New Orleans and the Providence Community Health Center in Providence, Rhode Island.  Her final internship was at a private eye care clinic in Frisco, Texas which allowed her to improve her skills in her special areas of interest including contact lenses, LASIK, dry eye, myopia control, as well as diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.

In her spare time, Dr. Zapata loves to travel and attend as many sporting events as possible with her husband. She is a big Cowboy/Spurs/Red Sox fan. She also loves to travel to the hill country with her miniature schnauzers on the weekends.


Dr. Alejandro Cerrillo

Alejandro Cerrillo, O.D. has returned home to join our practice as a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist.
Photo of Alejandro Cerrillo, O.D.Dr. Cerrillo worked at our office as a technician and trained as a student while attending undergraduate school at The University of the Incarnate Word. After undergraduate school, he attended The Rosenberg School of Optometry at UIW, where he received the Doctor of Optometry degree with Magna Cum Laude Honors.

While in optometry school, Dr. Cerrillo received numerous awards such as the UIWRSO Clinical Excellence Award, UIWRSO Mission Award, and UIWRSO Leadership Award. Dr. Cerrillo conducted clinical research and presented his publication at the American Academy of Optometry.

In his free time, Dr. Cerrillo enjoys playing and singing with his mariachi group. He is a San Antonio native and speaks Spanish fluently.
